Description

Miel Basacier Napoleon Linden Honey is a pure monofloral honey made from linden blossom, also known as lime tree or basswood. It has that lovely fresh character linden honey is known for: floral, herbal, a little woody, with an intense minty-resinous note at the end.

  • Pure European monofloral linden honey
  • Herbal and intensely resinous flavour
  • Glass jar for table serving
  • Selected and packed by Miel Besacier

This is a honey for grown ups who want intense bitterness and intensity in their honey. Spoon over pancakes or sharp young goat’s cheese. It is good in chamomile, mint or jasmine tea, where the honey’s own leafy, citrus-like notes come through.

Miel Besacier has worked with honey in France since 1905, selecting from beekeepers and checking for taste, floral origin and purity.

Please note: honey is not suitable for infants under 12 months.

Meet the make: Miel Besacier

Miel Besacier is a French honey house, and pralines producer.

Founded in 1905, this family-run company has spent more than a century working with honey, bees, and beekeepers. Today it is led by David Besacier, who is also President of the French Honey Association. So this is not a brand that simply buys honey and puts a label on it. Honey is their world.

What we love about Miel Besacier is how close they stay to the source. They select honey directly from beekeepers, build long-term partnerships, and put a strong focus on traceability.

Miel Besacier has also spent more than 30 years focused on organic production and better beekeeping practices. Not every jar is automatically certified organic, so check the product title and label if that is important to you.

Product formulations and details may change. For the latest ingredients and allergen information always check product packaging prior to consumption. Ingredients: European linden honey
