How to use chickpeas

Tinned chickpeas are a fantastic time-saver as they require no pre-soaking.
Once drained and rinsed, they can be used immediately in vibrant salads.
Or heat them quickly for speedy tagines and curries.

What can I make with chickpeas?

Dried chickpeas make a handy store cupboard staple. Simply soak overnight and they’re good to go! Try making a delicious chana dal with black chickpeas - an Indian variety with a distinctive texture, which are actually golden yellow in colour after being hulled and stripped.
